Teaching the Millennial Generation
Teachers are experiencing a new breed of students known as Millennials. Born between 1982 and 2002, these students are more confident and articulate than the previous generation. But they are heavily dependent on parents and they have no fear about speaking up for what they want. Connecting with this new generation has been a journey, say faculty at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School—many of whom have adapted their teaching style to this new breed.
