Has the Evening MBA program met your expectations?
“The Emory Evening MBA program has completely exceeded all of my expectations. The professors are very knowledgeable in their field of study, and there are many opportunities for one-on-one interaction with faculty for those students who pursue it. I have also enjoyed getting to know my classmates. I have been impressed by the diverse backgrounds and experiences of my cohort, and I've also been fortunate to make some great friends in the process.” – Brock
“I enrolled in the Goizueta Business School expecting an exceptional education but Emory has taken it to another level. The EvMBA program office offers near 24 hour support with any questions or problems I may have. This is topped off with faculty who are truly dedicated to broaden your management skills with engaging classroom discussions and support outside the classroom.” - Avi
“The EvMBA program has exceeded my expectations. The diversity of the people I get to interact with through the program broaden my perspective. The faculty is truly interested in seeing the students succeed.” - Brian
What has surprised you about the program?
“Having taken Strategy and Economics the first semester, I saw an immediate use of the material at my present job. Balancing work and school is challenging, but the material and professors engage your interest.” – Rahul
“At first I was nervous that after working a full day, I'd never be able to stay focused for class. But I have never once felt that way, as the professors have made the classes very interactive.” - Avi
“Even though managing this busy schedule is a challenge, I feel as though I am now much more efficient and productive in all aspects of life. This program really forces you to be organized and prioritize your life even if that's not your nature.” - Brock
Do you have any advice for future students?
“I think the best advice I received was to always make time for myself (and those I care about) every week. I think this is critical to being successful in a program like this over the long haul.” – Brock
“Talk to current students and alums to gain an understanding of the number of hours you’ll need to dedicate each week to your courses. Learning to balance work, school and your personal life certainly hones your organizational skills.” - Rahul
“Brush up on your study skills. After being out of school for seven years, it took me a few weeks to ramp back up to being an efficient learner.” - Brian
