Earlier this year when The Coca-Cola Company wanted to explore ways to increase sales of its serve-yourself fountain beverages at convenience stores, the firm turned to Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and its Goizueta Marketing Strategy Consultancy (GMSC). The student-run GMSC offered Coca-Cola an economical way to tap into fresh new ideas from an outside source. As the spending on consulting services continues to rise, the GMSC shows how partnering with talented MBA students can add value to any organization.
