BusinessWeek ranks Emory’s Evening MBA Program #2 in Nation

ATLANTA (November 2, 2007) – In BusinessWeek’s first ranking of Part-time (Evening) MBA programs, Emory University’s Goizueta Business School ranks number 2 among all Evening MBA programs in the nation and number 1 in the Southeast.

BusinessWeek ’s ranking of Part-time (Evening) MBA programs is based on program selectivity; quality of the program, and student feedback.

Goizueta’s Evening MBA Program received an “A” in teaching quality, was named “best for career switchers,” and was ranked number 2 in student satisfaction.

Susan Gilbert, Associate Dean of the Evening MBA Program, said, “We are thrilled to be recognized by BusinessWeek’s first ranking of part-time programs. I am particularly pleased with the student feedback that so greatly contributed to the outcome.”

Gilbert added, “Earning an MBA from Goizueta Business School is a challenging endeavor for students who work full-time. They now realize, even more, that their investment is paying off.”

Goizueta Business School’s Evening MBA program is unique in the Atlanta market for a variety of reasons including:

  • Career management services available to Evening students;
  • International colloquium and international electives available (ranging from 1 - 3 weeks in length);
  • Academic quality (program is part of a top-ranked university and business school); and,
  • Small community (students know their professors and classmates, and can build a network that will last a lifetime).

In addition to the Evening MBA Program, Goizueta Business School offers two formats of the W. Cliff Oxford Executive MBA, a Two-Year MBA, a One-Year MBA, an undergraduate degree and a doctoral degree, together with a set of innovative non-degree Executive Development programs.
