EWG Guiding Star Award Nominees Now Being Accepted

One goal of the Executive Women of Goizueta is to honor women in our communities who exemplify our mission of Women Empowering Women. The Guiding Star Award, presented each year at our annual conference, honors a woman who is growing her own career while also mentoring and empowering others around her. She is actively involved in her community and family, and she guides others through her example.

We all know women who help and inspire us every day. Please nominate the special women in your life to be our next award winner.

Our previous award winners include Jacqui Welch and Helene Lollis. Both of these amazing women have inspired, taught and motivated us. Please take a moment and watch the video biographies of these Guiding Stars, and become inspired to nominate the guiding star in your life for this year's award.

Nominating Procedure:
Please send your nominations to ewg@bus.emory.edu with the subject line, "2008 Guiding Star Nomination." Let us know why your nominee should be our Guiding Star Award recipient for 2008, including as much as you can about the following:

• Organizations she supports
• People she mentors
• Any other honors (it is not necessary to have other awards)
• References (people we can talk to who can give good and different aspects of your candidate)

Deadline for nominations: June 1, 2008.
