Accounting
Academic research in accounting examines the production and use of information, usually through the lens of theories adapted from the social sciences, especially economics and psychology.
Our Accounting faculty includes leading researchers in their respective areas, publishing in such notable journals as the Journal of Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Economics, The Accounting Review and Contemporary Accounting Research. Furthermore, the faculty has close ties with many Atlanta and national organizations, serving as consultants, collaborating with research and holding corporate board memberships.
