Biography
Sriram Venkataraman joined Goizueta Business School as an assistant professor of marketing in July 2004. Venkataraman's research focuses on new models of marketing research. These models help firms make more informed marketing decisions by providing a better understanding of consumer and competitive choices. Specifically, his research involves empirical application of game theory to analyze marketplace data. Substantive questions his current research addresses include (a) product line pricing, price promotions in consumer packaged goods and (b) market entry-exit dynamics in the lodging industry.
