Biography
Krishnamurthy Subramanian (Subbu) joined the Goizueta Business School faculty in 2005 after completing his Ph.D. in Finance at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business. Subbu's research examines, theoretically and empirically, the financing choices and boundary decisions in human capital intensive firms. Prior to joining GBS, Subbu has worked with J P Morgan in Interest Rate Derivatives strategy, with the largest Indian Financial Institution ICICI Bank in Fixed Income Research and with the Indian Fixed Income Markets regulator FIMMDA as Executive Assistant to the Chairman.
Subbu has designed the elective course “Corporate Governance and Restructuring” and teaches this course to the MBAs and BBAs. He also teaches Corporate Finance Theory to Finance PhD students.
