Strategic Talent Management:
Leveraging Human Capital for Competitive Advantage

Course Description: The challenge of identifying, attracting, developing, and keeping l eadership talent is central to any company’s long-term success. Without a rigorous process to place the right kind of talent in the right organizational role, companies will lose competitive advantage. T op companies make talent management a strategic business priority in good times and bad, and talent can make the difference. Processes may be fairly constant across companies; it’s the discretionary behavior of talented leadership around the processes that create competitive advantage. This module will explore an innovative process for ‘minding the talent store’. This means a disciplined process for stratifying leadership talent using performance criteria, and a systematic way to identify the best talent across the organization, from Board Room executives to line management. This module is designed to build competency in this area by weaving together content and application exercises for a comprehensive learning experience.

Who should attend: C-suite officers, Vice Presidents, HR Directors, and other functional leaders are invited to attend this learning experience, especially those individuals whose leadership responsibilities include selecting, developing, and retaining talent for their organization.
