Leveraging Creativity: Innovation and Intrapreneurship will explore the importance of innovation and “intrapreneurship” in organization strategy, execution, and culture. The program will guide you towards new ways of thinking and problem solving in order to create a competitive advantage.

Detailed Course Description
In this program, you will begin to explore and understand the value of innovation, “out of the box” thinking, and “intrapreneurship” (or entrepreneurship within organizations). By examining why some organizations struggle to create and capture new value, as well as examining the specific factors and business models that allow organizations to grow through innovation and intrapreneurship, you will learn how to leverage existing organizational capabilities to create a culture of innovation.

- Innovation as a key strategic imperative
- Benchmarking innovation strategy to demonstrate how innovation adds value to the bottom line
- Frameworks to promote creativity and “out of the box” thinking on a daily basis
- Innovation and intrapreneurship as a value added leadership competency
- Building and executing a culture that rewards innovation and intrapreneurship, and understanding the impediments to developing a culture of creativity and innovation
Practical Application/Exercises:
- Participants will be asked to come prepared with specific examples from their own organizations to use as live cases
