Overview

Ten years ago a group of dedicated BBA student leaders from Emory University’s Goizueta Business School sought to create a collaborative forum for student leaders from the top universities around the world. Their efforts resulted in the first Undergraduate Business School Leadership Conference (UBSLC) and the first dynamic educational platform of its kind. This annual conference continues to expose undergraduate students to leading business thinkers and practitioners, invaluable workshops in leadership development, cases and other interactive exercises. Annual conference participants come from the top 25 undergraduate business school programs in the United States ranked by Business Week as well as leading international institutions in England, Italy, France, Ireland, Colombia, Chile, China, Singapore, and other countries.
During the two-and-a-half day event, participants not only develop heightened leadership skills and insights, but also build a social network with the world’s most promising future business professionals. Our mission is to empower students with the necessary skills to return to their home schools and make a significant positive impact on their own student body.
In past years, we have hosted Howard Schultz (founder of Starbucks), Robert Nardelli (former Chairman and CEO of The Home Depot), and AG Lafley (CEO of Proctor and Gamble) as keynote speakers.
This year we are proud to announce our conference theme as “Transformative Leadership”. It is in the time of change that leaders are faced with larger challenges and truly grow from their experiences. The conference will be held on February 4th- 6th, 2010 . More information to follow.
