Transfer Students

Transfer applicants must have completed a minimum of 64 semester hours or 90 quarter hours in a two-year course of academic studies in the liberal arts, exclusive of physical education course credits, by the time they enroll.

Prerequisite Courses

As part of or in addition to the semester hours required for matriculation, all Undergraduate BBA prerequisite courses except for BUS 210, Financial Accounting must be completed prior to entering the program. Please note that an introductory statistics course can be used as a substitute for BUS 350 Decision Science.

Some business classes satisfy these requirements for business students. Students who have taken Financial Accounting at another university, for example, must either complete BUS 210 at Emory or pass a waiver exam in order to satisfy this requirement.

General Education Requirements

All applicants should have completed the majority of Emory College general education requirements as outlined in the College catalog. However, remaining requirements may be completed after entering the BBA program.

Deadlines

Application deadlines are as follows:

• Summer or Fall enrollment: February 15
• Spring enrollment: October 1

If your complete application is received by the deadline, it will be reviewed within 4-6 weeks. You will be notified of your admission decision via email in time to bid on classes for the subsequent semester.

If your complete application is received after the deadline, it will be reviewed on a space available basis, and you will be notified of your admission decision after the end of the semester in which you apply.
