Our Commitment to Your Success
Our goal is to help you hone the skills you need to manage your career via:
- One-on-one career coaching
- In-house and industry career panels and workshops
- Self-assessment
- Mock interviewing
- Interview feedback
- Alumni and company contacts
- Career development workshops (interviewing skills, resume preparation, business writing, and networking)
- Business Library for company research
- Structured functional roadmaps to guide you in your job search strategy
Career Coaches - There to Help You Every Step of The Way
Our favorable staff-to-student ratio allows you to receive personalized attention during your internship and post graduation job search. Upon entering the program, you will be assigned a CMC coach, a CMC staff member who will be your partner throughout your time at Goizueta. Although the entire staff is at your disposal, your coach will help you to stay focused and on-task. You will also be paired with a peer career coach - Career Consultant, a second-year MBA student who has been through the internship search process and can provide unique insights into the art of positioning and marketing yourself to ensure maximum results.
The Goizueta Community - Your Greatest Career Resource
Our tight-knit, small community fosters a supportive atmosphere that encourages and facilitates collaborative job search efforts. From current students and alumni to faculty members and staff, everyone is involved – directly or indirectly – in the career management process. For example, we have developed several tools designed to provide a forum for sharing business connections. "6-Degrees," an electronic conference in which students post their needs for contacts in a particular industry, company, or city, gives others the opportunity to respond directly by sharing their contacts in that particular area. During the year, the conference generates hundreds of legitimate, actionable opportunities and leads.
