Guidelines for Applicants from India

  • Completion of at least a 3-year Bachelor's degree, with evidence of strong and consistent performance.
  • Applicants from India who received their undergraduate degree from an institution in India where all classes were taught in English are not required to submit TOEFL scores.
  • Applicants who hold Master's degrees in Finance, International Business, Management or related subjects are encouraged to apply to the One-Year Accelerated MBA program. In addition, Chartered Accountants and Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA) may meet the eligibility requirements of the One-Year MBA program. These candidates are all also eligible to apply to the Two-Year MBA.

Transcripts

Applicants who have transcripts from India may submit copies of those official university documents for the admission application process. We require transcripts from every institution the applicant attended. If the transcripts are not in English, we require a certified translation.

Once an applicant is admitted, it is the applicant's responsibility to submit the official transcript(s), bearing the school's original seal. A certified copy of the original document is acceptable. The official transcript is due with the deposit confirming enrollment.

The Admissions Committee strongly recommends that international applicants submit academic transcripts and other professional certifications through World Education Services (WES). For instructions and additional information, please visit www.wes.org.

All applicants should apply using our online application. Exceptions to this policy should be submitted in writing to the address below or at admissions@bus.emory.edu, explaining the need to use a paper application.
