Internships

The CMC takes a holistic approach in preparing students for their summer internship search. Before students arrive on campus they are surveyed to provide the CMC with information on industry, company and functional preferences. This information is then used to help shape our corporate outreach and student preparation strategies. Once students arrive on campus preparation begins through seminars, conferences, corporate visits, peer groups, counseling, etc. After rigorous preparation students participate in interviews both on and off campus and we are proud to say that for the last four years we have had a 100% placement rate for internships.

"Prior to coming to Goizueta, I was employed at Kenneth Cole because I wanted to work in the fashion industry. So I was thrilled when I obtained an internship at Revlon in New York City, allowing me to continue with my passion for this business. During my time there, I began to understand the undeniable value of these leadership, communication, and presentation skills.

We also participated in a lunch series with members of Revlon's senior management. One after another, when probed to give advice on what they wish they had known right out of business school, each confirmed how important communication and leadership skills are. Fortunately, Goizueta already knows this and makes it a priority to instill each of us with this knowledge.
