Our Diverse Community

Our Diverse Community

We don’t just encourage diversity, we live it. We celebrate diversity in the experiences and knowledge of our faculty, staff, students, and alumni, and seek a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives in our MBA student body, teaching methods, and course offerings.

A Consortium School

Goizueta is a member of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management, an alliance of leading American business schools and some of the U.S.'s top corporations. Its mission is to enhance diversity in business education and leadership by helping to reduce the under-representation of African Americans, Hispanic Americans, and Native Americans in member schools' enrollments and the ranks of business management.

Management Leaders For Tomorrow (MLT)

This organization increases the presence of qualified students of color in leading entry-level careers and major graduate business schools as preparation for leadership positions in corporations, entrepreneurial ventures, and non-profit organizations.

The Forté Foundation

The Forté Foundation, a select group of top-tier business schools and companies dedicated to the recruitment of women into business and graduate management education, provides a select number of merit-based scholarships to qualified female students, as well as numerous networking opportunities.

International Business Association (IBA)

The IBA, a student-run organization dedicated to helping international students acclimate and distinguish themselves at Goizueta and in the job market, increases your exposure to international businesses and careers.

Goizueta Women In Business (GWIB)

GWIB provides professional and personal development opportunities for women at Goizueta by fostering relationships inside and outside the Emory community.

Black MBA Association (BMBAA)

BMBAA promotes professional development, networking, and community involvement for its members through a strong network that provides support both during their time here and in their future careers.

Hispanic Business Association (HBA)

HBA promotes the legacy of our school's namesake, Roberto C. Goizueta, by promoting a better understanding of the impact of Hispanic culture on U.S. business. For two years, the National Society of the Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) has bestowed its "University of the Year" award on Goizueta in recognition of its support of NSHMBA on both a local and national level, its efforts to attract more Hispanics to the MBA program, and its prestige and reputation in the community.

Goizueta Pride Association (GPA)

GPA was developed as a vehicle to create an accepting environment that values all people regardless of sexual orientation, to build a networking link to the gay and lesbian business community outside Goizueta, to serve as a resource for prospective students, and to raise awareness of gay and lesbian business issues and concerns.
