Recommendations
As part of the MBA application, we require 2 recommendations. Please note, if you indicate on your application that you will be submitting 3 recommendations, your file will be held incomplete until we receive all 3 recommendations. If at any time during the application process you determine you will not be submitting the third optional recommendation please contact us, so your application is completed for review.
We prefer that these recommendations are professional in nature (for example, a direct supervisor, project manager, or client). Please note, if you are admitted to Goizueta Business School, your recommenders may be contacted to verify the information provided prior to your enrollment through our credential verification process.
You have two options for submitting your recommendations:
Online Recommendation
As part of the online application, we have a recommendation section. You will enter each of your recommenders on the online application including their email address. When you click the “Notify” button, those requests for recommendations will be automatically emailed to your recommenders.
Hard Copy Recommendation
You may also submit your recommendations as hard copies. Sign and fill out the top portion, and give it to your recommenders to complete. They can send it in on your behalf, or return it to you in a sealed envelope so that you can submit it with your other materials. Recommenders may write a letter on company letterhead and attach it to the form, but it should address all of the questions on the form. Additionally, they should fill out the matrix on the second page. They are not limited to the space on the form. Recommenders should attach a business card to the form.
