MD/MBA Program
While Goizueta does not yet have a formally established joint MD/MBA Program, we welcome the application of medical school students to our MBA Program. Medical School students typically apply to Goizueta during their third year of medical school studies. In that way, if admitted, they enroll in the MBA Program with summer internship in the healthcare field. With the exception of full-time work experience, medical school students are evaluated for admission in the same manner as all other applicants. They are required to take the GMAT.
Medical School students enrolled at Goizueta typically take a full load of courses (5 classes each semester and Goizueta Plus) during their first year of business school enrollment. Then, medical school students must complete 5 additional classes to earn their MBA degree. Some medical school students have chosen to complete all these classes in a single semester, while others have chosen to spread them out across two semesters, taking classes simultaneously at the Business School and the Medical School. In either instance, in order to earn the MBA through this dual enrollment, medical school students are enrolled at Goizueta for three (not four) semesters.
