International Applicants

About one-third of each MBA class comes from outside of the U.S. This significant number reflects our strong commitment to providing an international experience for all students so they can actively learn from each other about the interplay of cultural, political and business practices around the world.

    Language Requirements

International applicants must submit all application materials, including official GMAT scores. For candidates whose native language is not English, we also require either the TOEFL or, in cases where the TOEFL is not available, the IELTS exam. The minimum required TOEFL score is 100 on the internet based test, 250 on the computer based test, or 600 for the paper-based test. The minimum required IELTS score is 7.0.

The TOEFL may be waived if candidates:

    • Have spent at least 3 years in the U.S. working toward completion of an undergraduate degree, OR
    • Have completed a graduate degree followed by at least 2 years of work in the U.S., OR
    • Are from countries where their junior high school (equal to 7th and 8th grade in the U.S.) and high school education is in English; their full university education is in English; and commerce in their country is generally conducted in English. (Examples of such countries include: Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Malaysia, Singapore, India, Ghana, Nigeria and Uganda.)

    Guidelines for Applicants from India

    • Completion of at least a 3-year Bachelor's degree, with evidence of strong and consistent performance.
    • Official transcripts certified by United States Education Foundation in India (USEFI). If USEFI does not have an office in the city of the applicant, we will consider only transcripts verified by the issuing institution as satisfactory.
