Goizueta students thrive on our program’s rigor and intensity, and they often choose to extend these challenges outside the classroom. While Evening MBA students face enormous demands on their time, we encourage students to get involved. The extra effort is well rewarded by the enhanced relationships and experiences gained.
Graduate Evening Business Association (GEvBA)
All Evening MBA students are members of GEvBA, an organization dedicated to giving students a voice in decisions regarding the Evening MBA Program. Through its three student-run committees, GEvBA also provides additional opportunities for student leadership and involvement in the global Goizueta community.
- The Academic Advisory Committee facilitates student interests on all academic issues, provides a channel to ask questions, raise issues and express opinions about academic services, and identifies issues and communicates them to the Evening MBA Program Office.
- The Social Committee oversees social and philanthropic activities for students and assists the Evening MBA Program Office with PR needs. They coordinate such events as Martinis and IMAX at the Fernbank Museum, where you can socialize with your classmates and develop a lifelong network.
The Career Advisory Committee is a new addition to GEvBA, dedicated to providing support to students involved in a job search and feedback on career management services.
Evening Case Club
Preparing for case competitions or case interviews takes practice. Run by students, the Evening Case Club provides case practice when it’s most convenient to Evening MBA students.
Goizueta Women in Business (GWIB)
GWIB provides professional and personal development opportunities for women by fostering relationships inside and outside the Emory community. GWIB serves as a source of information for its diverse membership and sponsors a speaker series, National Association of Women MBAs (NAWMBA) and other conferences, networking, and social events.
Executive Women of Goizueta (EWG)
EWG acts as a forum for executive-level businesswomen to discuss the challenges of compensation, workplace expectations, and work-family balance. EWG provides its members the environment in which to share experiences and business tactics, learn from each other, and find support.
