Application Requirements

The Admissions Committee reserves the right to limit the size of each entering class. All decisions are final and are typically made within four to eight weeks after the application is complete. Due to the design and structure of the Evening MBA Program, all admitted students must reside and be gainfully employed within the Atlanta area.

What We Look For

Admission to Goizueta Business School's Evening MBA Program is highly selective. In keeping with the mission of Emory University, the admissions staff seeks to enroll a diverse Evening MBA class with a variety of interests. Successful applicants will have:

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a strong academic record
• Several years of full-time work experience
• Current employment in the Atlanta area
• Demonstrated leadership
• Solid quantitative or analytical foundations
• A basic level of computer literacy
• A competitive score on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
• Supportive letters of recommendation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

*Additionally, if they have not already done so, all admitted students must satisfactorily complete an online statistics course. Information will be provided upon acceptance.

Application Requirements

Your completed application must include:

• A completed online application: Exceptions to this policy should be submitted in writing at admissions@bus.emory.edu, explaining the need to use a paper application
• Official transcripts should be sent directly from ALL undergraduate and graduate schools attended
• GMAT scores: Schedule your exam at www.mba.com (GMAT test code for Evening is C3Q-71-90)
• TOEFL or IELTS scores for applicable international students
• Two letters of recommendation: Download the recommendation form or indicate on your on-line application that your recommenders will complete an electronic recommendation (which will be automatically emailed to them when you submit your application)
• Essays

Applicant Verification Process

Integrity is of one of our Core Values and, implicitly, an important characteristic of our application process. To guard against potential allegations that students may have provided inaccurate information about themselves or their backgrounds in their applications, all application credentials for deposited Evening MBA candidates will be subject to an independent verification process. There is a $70 fee associated with this process that the student is responsible for.

Current MBA Holders

If you have earned a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree in the United States, you are not eligible to enroll in a Goizueta Business School MBA Program. Exceptions to this policy will be considered on a rare case-by-case basis if the degree is considered not comparable to the academic and experiential content of Goizueta Business School's MBA Program.
