My employer and I decided that Goizueta’s weekend format would give me the flexibility to meet the demands of my busy work schedule with minimal inconvenience to my organization.

During the first class, I learned how to develop effective organizational structures for global companies, and I was exposed to the impact of poor organizational design on productivity and decision-making. A few months later, I was given responsibility for creating a consolidated, global research and development organization. I was able to immediately draw upon my classroom experience to guide me in making better decisions. This experience showed me business responsibilities can change very quickly, and I could immediately use what I had learned to add value to my organization.
