Career Services
The goal of Goizueta Business School’s Executive MBA program is to provide the skills, knowledge and tools necessary to help you succeed in your professional career. Our Executive MBA Career Services complement the strong leadership and development curriculum in the Executive MBA program, which includes individualized assessment tools and consultations to enhance leadership, coaching and organizational effectiveness.
As an Executive MBA student at Goizueta Business School, you will have access to career specialists who provide individualized services, depending on your specific needs. In addition, you will also have access to the following services:
- Individualized assessment tools to enhance leadership, coaching and organizational effectiveness
- Resume and cover letter critique
- A job posting board which houses opportunities from corporate recruiters, executive search firms, and fellow alumni
- Career Workshops: Access to workshops such as career planning, networking strategies, etc.
- Industry Events: Attend industry learning events, lectures and networking events
- CMC Sharepoint: A password protected website which provides career related topics
- CareerLeader: Self assessment tool to identify business interests and aptitude
- InterviewStream, a web-based interview program to practice interviewing and communications skills
- Access to powerful resources through The Goizueta Business School Library; company research tools such as Factiva; the alumni database
Self-funded students or students who receive a corporate waiver are eligible for additional services, depending on their individual situation. These additional services include:
- Individual career coaching including job search strategy advice, interview preparation, networking tips, negotiating tactics, etc.
- An online resume book for recruiters doing searches
- Corporate contacts, search firm contacts, alumni contacts
- An e-mail distribution list with job search resources, tips and hot job leads
- Access to multiple resources including: eProNet, ExecuNet, and Global Workplace
- When appropriate, access to on-campus interviewing through the full-time MBA Career Management Center
