Goizueta Business School Moves Up to Number 22 in U.S. News and World Report

The 2010 edition of U.S.News & World Report's "Best Graduate Schools" recognizes Goizueta Business School as one of the top business schools in the nation, ranking the Full-Time MBA Program number 22 out of 426 accredited business schools surveyed.  The program was number 24 in the previous U.S.News ranking. 

The school’s Evening MBA Program is ranked at number 16, and the W. Cliff Oxford Executive MBA Program is ranked at number 15.

Dr. J.B. Kurish, Associate Dean of the Full-Time MBA program, said, "The U.S. News ranking confirms our program's upward trajectory as we continue to implement improvements to our curriculum and leader development initiative."

Goizueta Business School Dean Larry Benveniste said, “We are pleased that our program continues to move forward. It is innovation that is moving us forward, having introduced an innovative new curriculum and expanded our reach into new areas, including alternative investments. Most importantly it is the quality of our graduates that defines our success.”

A school's ranking is one of many important factors that students review when selecting a school. Prospective students also examine course offerings, quality of the faculty, staff, and students, and geographical location.

U.S.News & World Report's full-time MBA rankings are based on two types of data: expert opinion about program quality, and statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school's faculty, research, and students. U.S.News asked business school deans and directors of accredited MBA programs to rate overall academic quality of the master's programs at each school. Corporate recruiters and company contacts that hired MBA graduates from previously ranked programs also were asked to rate the programs.
