Emory Executive Education Launches Corporate Partners Program
Emory Executive Education at Goizueta Business School starts the new year with a new Corporate Partners Program -- a way for organizations to develop leaders at all levels within the organization and also create leadership bench strength.
With the economy in a recession and many businesses reorganizing, adding talent might not be top of mind for most managers and corporate executives. However, companies that fail to continually work on developing and retaining talent run the risk of losing their most valued employees.
"Organizations that develop their talent -- not only their current leadership team, but also the next generation of leaders -- fare better in the long run," said Lisa A. Kaminski, Associate dean of Emory Executive Education. "Our program provides organizations with a high-quality executive education plan that is easy to access and administer."
Corporate partners receive reserved seats in any of Emory Executive Education's open enrollment programs at an advantageous rate. Partners pay an annual fee based on a volume commitment. Three membership levels are available, starting at $25,000. The annual membership fee will be applied toward discounted pricing on seats in the wide selection of open enrollment programs.
A recent study by consulting firm Watson Wyatt Worldwide found that "four out of ten companies believe workforce planning has become more important to their organization's business success since the economic slowdown, and almost a third (31 percent) have already begun to increase activity around it." The survey, conducted in October 2008, included responses of 129 North America-based employers across a variety of industries.
Emory Executive Education is an elite leadership development resource offering learning experiences ranging from multi-level, multi-week solutions to a series of open enrollment programs that develop leaders who are capable of transforming their organizations and driving performance. The organization has earned a global reputation for understanding clients' needs and for expert design of custom solutions. In its most recent rankings published in 2008, the Financial Times ranked Emory as a top executive education resource.
