Curriculum & Student Activities
The Center held a conference in October, 2003 entitled “Hitting the Growth Wall: Growth in Large Organizations,” which focused on the challenge of organic growth in public corporations. Corporate presenters included; Erich Reinhardt, President of Siemens Medical Solutions; Mike Eskew, Chairman and CEO of UPS; Rick Schnieder, Chairman and The Center has been the resource base for several courses offered through various areas of the school at both the MBA and BBA level. These include:
- Management of Innovation
- Entrepreneurship
- Entrepreneurial Leadership
- Venture Capital
- Advanced Entrepreneurship
The Center supports the MBA Entrepreneurship Club, the BBA Entrepreneurship Network and an Alumni Entrepreneurship Network through modest center grants, paying expenses for travel to business plan competitions and for hosting events. CECG has supported a Goizueta Business School Ph.D. candidate to take courses in entrepreneurship at other universities.
